I want to be a sightseeing taxi driverI joined the company. I learned about the job at a joint information session. Even though it's in the transportation industry, there's a poster that says "sightseeing". As I listened to the stories at the information session, I thought that this was the type of tourism and travel I wanted.

When I was studying travel at university,Welfare volunteers and part-time workersdoing I was greedy, but I was looking for both. I had a hard time finding one, but I met Mr. Miyagawa, who was in charge of recruiting, at a Hitachi information session, and after listening to what the tour conductor had to say, I thought I'd like to try it. Originally, I was not interested in the transportation industry, but I was fascinated by the possibility of making use of welfare transportation technology. As for tourism, I am involved in things like school trips at special needs schools, so in the end I feel like I am able to do both things that I wanted to do.

no. I went to a railway school, so at first I was studying railways. When I was trying to broaden my horizons when looking for a job, I began to think that there were various options, such as buses. I started to think that I would like to try driving a big car if I had the chance.

I first studied tourism at a vocational school, but I actually had no sense of direction. I had a hard time on the train, and even when I was looking for a job, I couldn't reach my destination. However, the bus will deliver you to your destination. I wondered if there were other people who were in trouble like me. After that, I got a job called "sightseeing bus", and it feels like I've seen a lot of things. At Hitachi,You can do various things such as sales other than sightseeing busesI knew that, so I decided to decide what to do after joining the company.

I am now,Tour guide and instructor of special support school school busI work as Recently, I have been involved in everything from the field to education. I like children, but there are many things I don't understand, such as the way I interact with them and the need for consideration, and I made a lot of mistakes at first. Taking advantage of such experiences, I try to convey what I have learned, what I have learned from others, and what I am learning now so that even beginners can do it. When I see people grow, I realize that I'm glad I did it. of course,children greet me with a smileI am also happy.

It's surprisingly easy to make people laugh. The difficult thing is how to deal with them when they are angry. Speaking of failures, I think of things like forgetting things. I am currently working as a tour guide for a welfare facility shuttle bus. Even with the same tour guide, there are people with physical disabilities, and there are people with mental disorders. The older ones are in their 50s and 60s, while the younger ones have just graduated from high school. In particular, the elderly people have more life experience than I do, so I'm going through trial and error about how to be considerate and what I don't want them to say. I have been working as a school bus tour conductor since joining the company. For the first three months, I went to various places, and at that time, I think it was just fun. These days, you often find yourself struggling rather than having fun. However, because I have been watching the same students for a long time, there are parts that make me enjoy talking to them. It's also nice to hear from tour conductors and drivers that I haven't seen in a long time.

I belong to the taxi department, so I work with the office staff on business plus, which is shared by new graduates, and on phone calls and invoices for sightseeing taxis. As an ambassador for Benefit One, which is a welfare program, I am involved in projects such as picking up the main feature of the month so that people in the company can use it. If you meet them even once, you will know the atmosphere of the hotel or concierge where you call them for sightseeing. Also, although it took a lot of time, I'm glad that the sightseeing plan I planned was posted on the company's website.
How do you spend your days off and after work?

On weekdays, I usually go straight home after work, but I try to go out on weekends. Nowadaysoften driveis not it. When I was on the train, I used to go to Tokyo a lot, but after I got my driver's license, I started to go out by car. My hobbies have increased, so I think I'm glad I got my license.
